Player Identification
- All players will receive an Untouchable Soccer League Player Card
- Each player must check in with the referee or field manager. Player Cards must be presented, every game, at player check in
- Pictures or digital copies of Untouchable Soccer League Player Cards are not valid
- Players without a valid Untouchable Soccer League Player Card may not play
Team Captain & Player Draft
Captain Registration
Players may opt-in to be a Team Captain during registration.
Captain Selection
- 12 captains will be randomly selected from the opt-in pool.
Player Draft
Captains will attend a pre-season draft meeting to select players.
Draft Rules
- Draft order determined randomly
- Snake draft format
- Draft continues until rosters are full
Example:
Round 1: 1 → 12
Round 2: 12 → 1
Captain Responsibilities
- Attend the draft (or assign a proxy)
- Communicate schedules and league updates to their team
- Promote sportsmanship
- Represent their team with league organizers
- Ensure that all players play at least two quarters of each game
- Have Referee Game Fee (50$ per team) ready, in cash only, to be presented to Referee upon check in
- Team Captain will be responsible for returning equipment at end of league season
- Team Captain will be responsible for cost of missing equipment
Final Rosters
Rosters become final after the draft (No refunds)
League management reserves the right to alter team rosters, as needed, before start of first League game of the season
Game Rules
Untouchable Soccer plays by the rules of international football as defined by the 2025/2026 IFAB Laws of the Game
unless otherwise specified below. (Search ‘IFAB Laws of the game’ on your favorite app store. Free download)
League Format
- Teams play 7 vs 7 (including goalkeeper)
- Maximum roster: 12 players
- Minimum to start: 4 players
- Each team must have at least one male and one female player playing in each game
- Short field with a goalie
- No players may be added to the roster after Week 4
- No alcohol allowed in stadium
- No food allowed in stadium
- Please clean up all trash after games
- Failure to comply can result in permanent removal from the league and loss of field permits for Untouchable Soccer League
Game Length
- Two 25-minute running halves
- 2-minute halftime
- Substitution stop will occur approximately 12 minutes into each half
- No Added Time (formerly known as Injury Time). Games must start and end as scheduled. Games will end 52 minutes after scheduled game start times
- Games are rain or shine unless conditions are unsafe
Game Day Rules
Game Time & Forfeits
- All game clocks start at scheduled game times
- Teams must have at least 4 players to start
- Please arrive 15–20 minutes early
- Teams must have at least four players fielded by scheduled game start time otherwise the team forfeits
- Teams must be comprised of at least one man and one woman
- Forfeit team pays Referee Game Fees for BOTH teams, unless both teams forfeit then teams pay their own Referee Game Fees
- If a team must forfeit, notify the league as early as possible
Failure to notify the league may result in standings penalties.
Team Size
- 7 players on the field maximum
- 4 players minimum to play
- Teams with fewer than 4 players forfeit the match
No players may be added to the roster after Week 4.
Player Pickups (Substitute Players)
Teams may temporarily add Untouchable Soccer League players not on their roster if short-handed.
Rules
- Teams may temporarily add active Untouchable Soccer League players, if short-handed.
- Pickups may only be added to game, before scheduled game time, to bring number of fielded players up to seven
- If rostered players arrive, rostered players replace pickup players until no pickups remain
- Pickups cannot create substitutes
- Pickups may not be added after game starts
- No pickups allowed during playoffs
Equipment
Uniforms
- Teams must wear matching colored shirts
- Neutral colors are not allowed
- Shin guards strongly recommended
- Watches, fitness trackers, etc. must be covered by a sweatband or other padded material

Game Balls
Each team will be provided with four (4) Unstoppable Soccer League approved, size 5, soccer balls
Home team is responsible for providing the referee with all four of the home team’s balls, properly inflated to 10 PSI, before the start of the game
Team Captains are responsible for their own equipment
Team Captain must contact League as soon as possible to replace missing equipment
Starting the Game
- Coin toss determines sides and kick-off. Away Captain selects coin side. Winner chooses
- Opposing players must be 5 yards radius away from all kick-offs, free kicks and corner kicks

- A goal may be scored directly from kickoff
Substitutions
- Unlimited substitutions
- There are three substitution windows/opportunities during league play. Halfway through first half, half time, halfway through second half
- During playoffs, substitutions may be made before the start of Extra Time
- Every player must play half of the game, during league play. Two full quarters
Penalty Area
Two lines are drawn, at right angles to the goal line, 4 yards from the inside of each goalpost. These lines extend into the field of play for 12 yards and are joined by a line drawn parallel with the goal line.

Penalty kicks are taken from a mark 12 yards the from goal line, on the line of the penalty area, centered on the goal
Goal Area
- There is no defined goal area
- Goal kicks will be taken, from the goal line on, either side of the goal
- Indirect free kicks, inside the penalty area, will be taken from a spot 6 yards from the goal line, as close as possible to the location of the foul
Fouls inside the area result in a penalty kick from 12 yards.
Goalkeeper Rules
- Goalkeeper cannot punt or drop kick the ball (the spirit of this rule is to prevent goalkeepers from kicking the ball from goal to goal,
not to prevent goalkeepers from kicking the ball to a nearby teammate)
- If goalkeeper punts or drop kicks the ball, a corner kick will be awarded to the opposing team
Additional Rules
- Players receiving a caution (yellow card) must immediately run a lap around all four corners of the outside of the field before rejoining match.
Team plays short will player is running lap. Player may immediate rejoin play after running lap
- Players that receive any red card must immediately leave the stadium and surrounding area
- No slide tackling. A slide tackle is defined as a both legs, parallel to the ground. A one foot slide is NOT a slide tackle
- Only the goalkeeper may perform a slide tackle, in their own penalty area, to deliberately make a save
- 50/50 head-on challenges with the goalkeeper are not allowed. Attacking player must concede the ball to the goalkeeper and avoid contact with goalkeeper
- Making avoidable contact with the goalkeeper is punished with a yellow card and a direct free kick for the opposing team. Can be elevated to a red card if excessive contact is maden
- Slide tackles are punished with a yellow card and a direct free kick/penalty kick for the opposing team. Can be elevated to a red card if excessive contact is made
- Male players cannot excessively shoulder charge female players. The punishment is a yellow card and a direct free kick/penalty to the opposing team

Sportsmanship
Untouchable Soccer League is a charity-focused social league.
The following may result in suspension or removal:
- Fighting or threats
- Excessive aggression
- Arguing with referees
- Harassment of anyone
Untouchable Soccer League reserves the right to remove any player or team from the season or future leagues
Awards
- Golden Boot: Most goals scored
- MVP: Most goals + assists
- Golden Gloves: Best goalkeeper record
- Championship: Free registration + Trophy + $2400
Media & Highlights
All Untouchable Soccer League games will be recorded.
Each week, the league will publish game highlights featuring goals, saves, and notable plays from the matches.
By participating in the league, players acknowledge and agree that:
- Games may be filmed or recorded for league media and promotional purposes.
- Highlights, clips, and photos may be shared on league platforms such as the website and social media.
Our goal is to help players relive great moments, share highlights with friends, and showcase the league each week.
